On the 8th October, 2025, the 1995 Constitution of the Republic of Uganda will celebrate it’s 30th Anniversary. To commemorate this milestone, the Center for Constitutional Governance will host it’s annual high-level dialogue and conference.

This year’s theme:

“Guardians of the Constitution: Strengthening Institutions for Democracy, Justice and the Rule of Law.”

Uganda has had four constitutions since gaining independence. The first, the 1962 Independence Constitution, was followed by the 1966 and 1967 constitutions, with the current one adopted in 1995

We invite you and your organization to attend and participate in this important discussion.
