Center for Constitutional Governance Work

Imagine a country where the people don’t know their constitutional rights and there is no rule of law , Anarchy would prevail.

Promoting constitutionalism requires time, funds and creativity because it requires building a critical mass of citizens. We intend to do this by focusing on young people who compose 73% of the population.
CCG does this work through five flagship programs of: Students’ Hope Initiative Program in 25 universities on Constitutional Literacy: Digital Civic Space TV; Katiba Virtual Museum; Katiba Academy and series of Conferences on the Constitution. Our cross-cutting issues include Human Rights, Elections, Gender, Climate Change and Strategic Interest Litigation.

Will you consider supporting us with core, unrestricted funding of USD 3M to enable us stability, innovation, and creativity; to build a critical mass of citizens who are knowledgeable about the constitution and have the means of defending it – to reclaim their power and promote constitutionalism in Uganda.
