CCG 2024 Annual Report

Programs and Activities
CCG implemented a number of programs and activities within its thematic and programmatic areas namely: Constitutionalism; the University Students’ Program delivered through the Hope Initiative Clubs; Engagements on Civic Space TV. There were also several activities with cross cutting themes which were implemented in the reporting period.
Constitutionalism
Constitutionalism emphasizes the rule of law, separation of powers and protection of individual rights which are the tenets of democracy. CCG continues to be in the front line of defending the Constitution and promoting constitutionalism in Uganda and East Africa. In so doing, it holds several activities including conferences, workshops, debates, etc with various stakeholders to advocate for and find common ground with like-minded stakeholders to further push for the realization of these values and ideals. Two of such activities implemented in 2024 include the conference on the Constitution and the launch of the Virtual Constitutional Museum.
