YR1- ReCIPE Narrative Report

This report therefore details actions that have been taken by both Oxfam in Uganda and the Center for Constitutional Governance (CCG) to cultivate a rights respecting digital ecosystem that is value based, and safe civil society actors and human rights defends. This report details the different engagements that were actualized with the concerned stakeholders that ranged from government, tech and telecommunication companies, community members, human rights defenders and Civic actors.

These actions came in the form of conferences, forums and symposiums that both Oxfam and CCG led or participated in, from the national, regional and global level. The report also documents hights the different discussions that span from women to youths panel sessions that were hosted the on the Civic Space Tv. The report finally offers highlights of the official launch of the ReCIPE project in Uganda, and the survey that was conducted by Oxfam on the digital capacities of civil society organizations and community members. It should also be noted that no changes have been brought to the logical framework.
